A Vogel Plantago 50ML

Dosage Information

Adults: 15 drops 2 to 3 times a day, in a little water.

Children: 1 drop for each year of age (2-12 years) 2 to 3 times a day, in a little water.



Duration of Administration

No restrictions to longer term use. Longer term use will allow tissue repair.



Ingredients:
Tincture of organically grown fresh leaves and flowers of Plantago lanceolata (Lance Leaf Plantain), extracted in alcohol (49%v/v),



Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Store out of reach of young children. Food supplements must not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Otitis media (middle ear infection) is a very common childhood condition affecting 20% to 40% of children under six years of age.

The Eustachian tube regulates pressure in, and clears fluid from, the middle ear. Obstruction of the Eustachian tube leads first to the build up of fluid and then, if bacteria start to grow, bacterial infection.

Glue ear is the result of chronic otitis media, and leads to hearing loss through fluid accumulation in the middle ear.

Diet is often relevant in catarrhal conditions, with white flour, sugar and dairy foods being common culprits. Plantago, through its anticatarrhal action, helps disperse accumulated congestion.

Recent research has indicated that Plantago may cause aversion to smoking.
